What it is like to be hypnotized:
The person hypnotized on the stage that is made to quack like a duck is different from what is offered in my practice. You are aware during the entire hypnotherapy session. You can hear all that is happening and are in control of the entire session. Hypnotherapy provides you with the ability to relax and enter into a a state of heightened concentration giving you increased focus to process feelings that are more difficult when in an unrelaxed, low concentration state. Ten percent of our minds are found in the conscious; this is where we work to rationalize feelings, attempt to make sense of things and analyze our world. Bringing your subconscious to the front allows you to process feelings and events with less judgment and analysis, so you can work through some of your concerns that brought you here.
